ABINGTON, Pa. — Registration for summer courses at Penn State Abington is open for students attending any Penn State campus and for those from other universities and colleges.

“Summer is a great time to take a course that you really want to focus on, especially with our small class sizes," said Eva Klein, director of academic services at Abington. "You can get ahead, stay on track or take a course you need as a prerequisite for your fall schedule. It’s also a path toward graduating sooner."

Summer courses at Abington run the gamut from the liberal arts to business and the sciences and allow students to take classes that fill up quickly during the fall and spring semesters and re-take courses that were dropped. The summer sessions also help students make up missed requirements or incomplete credits or focus on a challenging class.

There are three summer sessions at Abington:

  • Maymester: May 12 to June 9
  • Summer Session I: May 19 to June 30
  • Summer Session II: July 2 to Aug. 15

Go to Abington's summer courses webpage to find the summer course guide, calendar, step-by-step enrollment instructions, tuition and other details.
